As long as your Phone Device is running under SIP protocol, it can be use within the Offisky phone system. In order to enable Offisky to communicate with your phone device, it needs to setup to connect to its corresponding "Phone Device Account" within your Offisky phone system. After your phone device has successfully connected to the network, you can create different mapping rules within your Offisky phone system to connect to the Phone Device Account. This screen provides the detail information how to setup your local device to connect to this Offisky phone system device account. Otherwise, the system may receive too many invalid attempt and may block your IP Address to protect your account.
Important:
- Once phone device account can only use by one phone (one line or extension within your phone) at the same time. If multiple phones connected to the same Phone Device Account, they will be conflict to each others, which will result in call delivery errors.
- If the phone device account experience excessive failure access (ie. invalid authentications), the connecting IP address will be block by the system to protect your account. In such case, if you are in the middle of setup your local IP phone settings, it may result in the complete phone network interruption within the same public IP. To avoid this, always copy and paste the information from this screen to your phone settings, and make sure all the settings are valid before allow your phone to go online and connect to the service. If this is really happening, create a ticket in the support channel to request for IP unblock, and provide us with the complete reason of why is this happen.
